10 Months

Ok, so I dont keep up with blogging as much as I used to. SSSSOOOOO here is was has been up since the last time. Elijah is walking more and more, starting to turn around and trying to walk over toys. He knows how to shake his head "No." Likes to eat what Fan & I eat (most of the time). Christmas was good, he got many toys and clothes from Nana and Poppie. He has gotten onetwo of his upper teeth. Not been sleeping good. My dad made him this really awesome rocking horse that even adults can ride. Eli loves to sit and try to rock.

We went to see "Walking with Dinosaurs" at one of our events centers downtown, Fan & I had to keep telling Eli "where are the lizards?" so he would look at them sometimes. He did try to immitate them by growling. It was pretty cool, for more old kids than babies, but its ok.

In less than two months he will be 1!!! I cant believe it was about this time last year, we were getting ready and baby showers. Wow!! Now look at him, walking, teething and slobbering all over. I also am starting to wean him and hopefully by the time his birthday comes around he will be done.

I also have a goal to lose my baby weight by either Eli's birthday or mine. I have been working out at work most of the time. Its a work out but it does help along with a diet plan from Glamour magazine. It is a Do-It-Yourself. They give you showing lists and menus and tips for 30 days and that should help you to eat right and in portions. So far I have lost 5 lbs. Woo-hoo!!!

I also found this website called SmileBooks. Where you download there free software and upload your pics to it and create your own photobooks. I'm doing one for each month for Eli. Then when I'm caught up on all that I will start to work on our wedding and other photos I have. Its a lil easier than scrapebooking plus you dont need to buy stickers and other materials. I love it. If anyone has pics of Eli, Fan &/or I, I would love to have them. Please email or send them to me. Thank you.

Fan & his dad finished my bar and trim in the dinning room yesterday. It has been 2 years since that whole project was started, but its done!!!! Fan is working more on the house just make it look nice before Eli's birthday when we have lots of people over.

Well I think thats about it for now.

Christmas pictures for 2008. Elijah is now 9 months old and growing so fast. He can take a few steps on his own but prefers to scoot around on the floor.

Precious Prints

For those of you who know someone over seas, across the world or country, or just someone you cant not be with take a look at this site.

My cousin and I have started this adorable thing call Precious Prints. She started it because my Uncle Dean was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2007. They are soft little balls wrapped in felt with a loved ones (grandchild or child, etc) hand print on them. We are currently looking for more colors and such and will be updating more and more.

Please check out our site and let us know if you want to order any of them.

9 month check up!!

Well, Elijah had to go to the doctor today. WOO-HOO!! No shots or blood tests, no needles. He weighs 17 pounds, 28 inches long and his head is 46 cm. I know his weight is scary sounding, but doc said since he started out small that his growth curve is on the right track and said that between now and about 2 years his weight will just steadily increase. The major thing they look at his how his head is growing and well he is a healthy baby boy. Doc said between now and 1 year he will steadily be able to eat more table foods, which shoot he does that now, when Fan & I eat.

He is also getting to where he is getting braver to stand on his own for longer periods.

I am already starting to try to plan his 1 year birthday. He may not remember it much, but we will have lots of pictures and fun and I want to make it a big deal on his birthday every year. For now we will have it at our place for the most part.

Thats all for now!

Growing, Growing....

Well, Elijah is growing almost too fast for me to blink. He can now whistle once in a while. If he does something good we say "yeah" and clap and now he claps too and smiles at us. He can give us high fives. If you ask him how a lizard goes, he moves his tongue in and out. Last night Fan & I were walking him back and forth between us and we got him to take 3 steps on his own.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My dad's only brother came down from Montana and his two sisters from Ohio came down and we had everyone together totaling some where around 40 people more or less. Eli had some turkey, ham, cheesy noodles, bread, rice, mashed potatoes, juice, pumpkin pie, cheese cake, deviled eggs, and green beans. Only little bits of everything, but still sounds like a lot.

We did not attempt the Black Friday shopping event. Kinda glad. My brother stayed over and we watched movies and relaxed.

Sunday, we had a friends Thanksgiving with Andrew, Amber & Kelsey; Glen, Brandy & Emma; Jo'elle & Cody; and Dustin. It was a good night. Eli had more turkey, mashed potatoes and green bean casserole. Then had some mashed lima beans, sweet potato, and pears.

Well thats about it for now. I will post again after Christmas. Hopefully by then I will have Elijah's online photobook page done with only current photos to add. :)

Lovies,
Fan, Sara & Elijah.

Eli was having fun in the bath. Look at those two teethers. Their so pretty.

Oh my!!! I'm sorry!!!!

Well so I've been a bad updater on Eli's life. It's been a month since you have heard from me......

Since my last post.......

Elijah is crawling like crazy all over the house and anywhere else we put him, he easliy pulling up on everything, getting braver by pulling up on Fan or I and then letting go for a few moments. He likes to sing "la-la-la, da-da-da" sometimes "ma-ma-ma" and recently likes to say eeeee-la, which kida of sounds like "Eli" in baby. He likes to stick his tongue out and try to talk.

He is having bathroom issues, but am narrowing down the problem and giving kyro syrup and plenty of fresh pears from my friend Amber's grandma's pear trees. He loves his bath time soooo much that when I go to wash him or his hair he fights and cries. He likes to pull up in his bath tub and I sit him back down so he doesnt fall. Scary.

He is playing more and more on his own. If you take something away from him he will cry and scream. Mommy and Daddy are not liking that too much. He likes to be chased by daddy, but if I chase him he crawls right to me. :)

Elijah's first Halloween was wonderful. Fan & I took him to the mall and met up with Mike, Jamie & Lane, and Brandy & Emma. We walked to mall, Eli slept most of the time, but still was able to get mommy and daddy some good candy.

Last Saturday, we had out first mommy's day out with Amber, Andrew & Kelsey. We went to eat out and then moms and babies went to the near by lavender farm. It was nice to go hang out with another mommy. Eli tried to kiss Kelsey but she pushed him away. They are so cute together. On our way home from the lavender farm, they both were singing together and then passed out together. AAAWWWWW!!!!

I am still re-arranging his photobucket page. I'm also trying to find something different that is easier to use.

That's all I have for now. Stay tuned.
